How we handle your health data โ clearly and completely.
VitalTrack โ Health Monitor ("the App") is developed and maintained by Xero Trust (package: com.xerotrust.vitaltrack). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have regarding your personal data.
By installing and using VitalTrack, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and discontinue use.
VitalTrack does not require an account, login, or sign-up. Your health data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
All data collected by VitalTrack is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate servers that receive or store your personal health information.
Name, age, height, weight, gender, blood group, and activity level โ entered voluntarily by you during setup.
Daily step count, walking and running sessions, distance, and calories burned โ collected via device motion sensor.
Blood pressure readings (systolic/diastolic/pulse) and blood sugar levels you manually enter into the App.
Medicine names, dosages, and scheduled reminder times that you configure within the App.
Your daily water intake goal, glasses consumed, and water reminder alarm schedules.
Language preference (English / Bangla), app settings, and UI configurations stored locally.
We do not collect: your location, camera or microphone data, contacts, device identifiers, IP address, or any data from other apps on your device.
Your data is used exclusively to power the App's features on your own device:
Your data is never used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or shared with any third party for any purpose.
100% on-device storage. All your data is saved in your phone's local SQLite database and SharedPreferences. Xero Trust has no access to this data at any time.
Health records (blood pressure, blood sugar, medicine plans) are stored in a local SQLite database on your device. Profile information and app preferences are stored using Android's SharedPreferences mechanism โ also on-device only.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device. We recommend taking a manual backup before uninstalling if you wish to retain your records.
Because all data remains on your device, its security depends on your device's own security (screen lock, encryption). We recommend keeping your device up to date and using a secure screen lock.
VitalTrack requests the following Android permissions. Each permission is used only for the stated purpose and nothing else.
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION | Reads your phone's built-in step counter sensor to count steps during walking and running sessions. |
| POST_NOTIFICATIONS | Sends medicine reminders and water intake alarm notifications at the times you set. |
| SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM | Fires medicine and water reminders at the precise scheduled time, not delayed by battery optimisation. |
| FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_HEALTH | Keeps the step counter running accurately while you are walking or running, even when the screen is off. |
| FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK | Plays the alarm sound for medicine and water reminders when they fire. |
| RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED | Re-schedules your medicine and water alarms automatically after the device is restarted. |
| VIBRATE | Vibrates the device when a medicine or water reminder notification fires. |
| WAKE_LOCK | Briefly wakes the processor to ensure alarm notifications are delivered on time. |
| INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Reserved for optional future features. The App currently functions fully offline and does not transmit any data over the internet. |
VitalTrack uses the following open-source libraries. These libraries run entirely on your device and do not independently collect or transmit your data:
The App is distributed through Google Play Store. Google may collect certain device and usage information as part of their platform services, independent of Xero Trust. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on their data practices.
We do not integrate any advertising SDKs, analytics platforms (such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or Mixpanel), or social media SDKs.
VitalTrack is a general-purpose health tracking app suitable for users of all ages. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 beyond what is entered voluntarily into the profile and health tracking features.
Since all data is stored locally on the device and never transmitted to external servers, the App does not present a data-collection risk specific to children. Parental guidance is nonetheless recommended for users under 13.
If you believe your child has entered sensitive information you wish to remove, simply delete the relevant records within the App, or uninstall the App to remove all data.
Because all your data is stored only on your own device, you have full and direct control over it at all times:
Xero Trust reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page and, where the changes are significant, notify users through the App or via a Play Store update notice.
Continued use of VitalTrack after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
The most current version of this policy will always be available at the URL linked from the VitalTrack Play Store listing.
